The 7-Day Digital Product Launch Checklist
From idea to first sale in one week. Work top to bottom. Do not skip days to "polish."
Day 1 — Pick the offer
- Write your offer in one sentence: I help [who] get [result] without [pain].
- List five problems you have personally solved that others still struggle with.
- Choose the one you can teach today, not the one that sounds most impressive.
Day 2 — Name the buyer
- Write down exactly who this is for, including where they already hang out.
- Talk to three of them. Ask what they have tried and what it cost them.
- Write their words into your headline. Use their language, not yours.
Day 3 — Set the price
- Price the outcome, not your hours. What is the result worth to them?
- Set three tiers: entry ($27-$49), core ($99-$299), done-with-you ($500+).
- Write a one-paragraph refund promise. Confident sellers offer one.
Day 4 — Build the product
- Outline it as 5-7 modules. One outcome per module.
- Write the first draft badly and fast. Editing is day five.
- Add one action item per module so readers do something, not just read.
Day 5 — One page and a checkout
- Build a single page: headline, who it is for, what is inside, price, buy button.
- Add proof. If you have none yet, use your own story and a guarantee.
- Wire a hosted checkout (Square, Stripe, or PayPal). Run a $1 test purchase.
- Confirm delivery works, then refund your own test.
Day 6 — Start ten conversations
- List twenty people who match the buyer you named on day two.
- Message ten of them personally. Not a broadcast — a real message.
- Offer founding-buyer pricing in exchange for honest feedback.
Day 7 — Ship and ask
- Announce it publicly: what it is, who it is for, where to get it.
- Ask every buyer for one sentence of feedback and a testimonial.
- Follow up with everyone who replied but did not buy. Most sales live here.
The one rule that matters: a live product with three customers beats a perfect product with none. Ship on day seven even if it is not finished.
